Ron is a trial lawyer for the firm.  He is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.  The LCA is a lawyer honorary comprised of experienced trial lawyers throughout the United States.  Fellowship represents less than one percent of American lawyers and is by invitation only.  

Ron has tried criminal cases ranging from Capital Murder (death penalty) and other high-level felonies to DUI and other misdemeanors.  He has represented clients accused of committing white-collar crimes as well as individuals charged in domestic disputes and drug offenses. 

He has tried civil cases involving amounts in controversy in excess of a million dollars.  He has represented both private individuals and corporate clients in complex civil matters.

He is admitted to practice in all courts for the state of Ohio.  He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Ron has three college degrees.  His first degree is an Associate of Applied Business with a concentration in paralegal studies from Lakeland Community College.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Dyke College with a major in paralegal education.  In addition to graduating with honors, Ron was on the National Dean's List, a nominee for the The Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award, and the team captain for the college's first mock trial team. Ron received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law.  While in law school, Ron was a two time recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award (awarded to the top ranked student in a particular course of study) and recognized in Who's Who Among American Law Students.  He was a teaching assistant in Legal Authorities.  He is a life member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.  During summer breaks, he was a law clerk for the Chief Legal Counsel for the Engineer and Scientist Association at NASA in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was a law clerk for a nationally recognized law firm during his last year of law school.

Ron is involved in the legal community as a member of the American Bar, Ohio State Bar, and Mahoning County Bar Associations.  He served on the Campaign Ethics Committee and Young Lawyers/Banquet Committee.  He was a co-chairperson for the Young Lawyers/Banquet Committee (2001-2003)  He is on the  Board of Trustees for the Mahoning County Law Library. 

In addition, Ron was the Chairperson of the Mahoning County Community-Based Correctional Facility Governing Board.  The board is the governing body for the regional Community-Based Correctional Facility.

Ron has lectured at the Youngstown State University Police Academy, several criminal law seminars, and has been a speaker at civil trial seminars. 

Ron served on active duty in the United States Army.
